The series follows real-life sea rescues carried out by the RNLI, who think nothing of risking their lives and putting themselves in danger’s way to save the lives of complete strangers. All of their members are volunteers who give up their free time to provide this vital rescue service on Britain’s shores.
Saving Lives at Sea uses a combination of specially designed boat-camera rigs and headcams to capture whatever situation comes up.
“There’s a huge variety of video formats, with many different frame rates and sizes. Josh Cordell, our online editor has extensive experience with these issues and set up a workflow that ensured the best looking results. We turned to Peter Lynch for the grade because we needed someone who could take the extra care needed to make it look beautiful and consistent.” – Dave Austin
